Rides can include anywhere from 1 – 8 people at a time. Call us directly for information on custom rides.
Please arrive 20 minutes early so we can orient you, and we ask that you dress appropriately for the weather on the day you come to ride. No shorts or sandals (You don’t want chaffing from the saddle or a horse stepping on your exposed foot).
We suggest layering your clothing and wearing cowboy boots, if you have them, or runners, gloves, and bring along a water bottle and some snacks if you’d like. The scenery is gorgeous, so we encourage you to bring a camera. Helmets are now mandatory for all riders, we do have helmets available for guest use. Guests are also welcome to bring their own athletic helmet if they prefer.
DETAILS
Trail rides take about 2 hours (15 minutes for basic orientation and familiarization with your horse, including saddling up, and an hour and 45 minutes for the ride). Sean leads the group around the ranch, through meadow and forest, allowing you to really soak in the experience. Riders will stop halfway at a charming lookout offering a view of the Baldy Hughes area, and are encouraged to take a break and take some pictures.
No food will be provided, but you are welcome to bring a water bottle and snacks along.
